Francis C. Edemobi is a Nigerian-American actor with training from the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and the Identity School of Acting. He has since worked in Theatre, Understudy in Noise Within’s Production of One Man, Two Guv’s, landing leading roles in productions like Sense & Sensibility, Rotterdam, Our Lady of 121st Street and The Pilot Who Crashed the Party (directed by Tony Award winner Paul Sand). Edemobi won first place at the Grown Folk August Wilson Monologue Competition, awarded by Dominique Morisseau. Breaking into film, he has two feature films in post production. He has starred in shorts including: Portrait (DGA Award, Septimius Award, Brooklyn Film Festival 2024). Sunday in August (Sundance ignite Finalist, New Orleans Film Festival, UrbanWorld 2024). Francis has also found work in commercials, His notable commercial work includes collaborations with directors David Meyers and Tim Hopper. He is currently a Hillman Grad Season 4 (Lena Waithe) Mentee. Tutelage under Behzad Dabu.

As a Filmmaker, Francis’ recent work include: Socrates, a passion project helmed by Horror legend Ken Sagoes. Currently in Post-Production.
